Truck driver, Gerald Hudson has pleaded guilty to damaging the historic Spencerville covered bridge. 

He has been sentenced to a year and half behind bars for felony criminal mischief, causing thousands of dollars in damage.

In the plea deal, Hudson will serve 180 days of the sentence with the remaining one year suspended.
