Two Arrested in Fremont Theft, Pursuit

Two women are under arrest after they allegedly stole items from four different stores at the Outlet Shops in Fremont, valued at more than fifteen hundred dollars.  When deputies from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department arrived to question the women just before noon on Wednesday, the pair took off in their vehicle and a pursuit ensued.  The chase ended when the driver stopped on I-69 SB near the Waterloo exit at mile marker 334.  Twenty-nine-year-old Shaholony Monique Stanford, of Indianapolis and 24-year-old Breonda Shontae Easterly-Conwell of Ft. Wayne were arrested and now face numerous charges.
