Two Fatally Shot in Indianapolis Motel Room

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Investigators are working to determine how two people were fatally shot inside an Indianapolis motel room.

Police say motel workers found the man and woman Sunday night inside a room at the Royal Inn along 38th Street on the city's northwest side. Detectives believe each person suffered at least on gunshot wound.

Indianapolis police spokesman Officer Kendale Adams says investigators didn't immediately know whether the gunshots were self-inflicted or were fired by someone else.

Autopsies were planned as part of the investigation. The names of those killed weren't immediately released.
