FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne, Allen County and State Police searched a mobile home park early Thursday morning after a reported attempted child abduction.

Around midnight, police say a man reportedly entered through a bedroom window of a mobile home at Carrington Park near Huguenard and Cook Roads.

In the bedroom was a three-year old girl. According to police, the girl told them, the man “tricked her with candy and grabbed her.” The girls father says he heard noises coming from the room, went back to check.

That's when he took off. Police searched the area, but were unable to track him down. The suspect is described as a white man, with a black hat, gloves and long black sleeves.
