FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An fight this morning has left one man in critical condition and another behind bars.

Dennis Tyson, Jr. is being held on a preliminary charge of aggravated battery after the confrontation near Wayne and Calhoun Streets.

Mike Joyner of the Fort Wayne Police Department said, the victim was walking with a woman around 4 a.m. when words were exchanged between the two men.

A woman who accompanied the victim left just before the fight started. The victims name has not been released.
