UPDATE: Teen Faces Class D Felony After Bluffton Bomb Scare

BLUFFTON, Ind. (WOWO): Bluffton Police tell WOWO that one teen was jailed after the bomb scare yesterday at Bluffton High School. 19-year-old Ashley Tierney faces a preliminary charge of false reporting, a Class D Felony. In addition, a juvenile was referred to probation.

Two high schools girls are in custody after they admitted to a bomb threat at Bluffton High School this morning, that's according to website wellscountyvoice.com.


Students at the school returned to class around 2 p.m. and are scheduled to be dismissed at the regular time today. Just after 9 this morning, a note claiming the bomb would detonate at 12:45 p.m. was found in a school restroom.

Students were evacuated to Harrison Middle School while authorities searched the building.
