VIDEO: Police Use DNA to Sketch Suspect in April Tinsley Case

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police have a new composite sketch of the person of interest in a 1988 murder case in Fort Wayne.

For the last 27 years the death of 8-year-old April Tinsley has gone unsolved, but Fort Wayne police have new DNA software that has produced an accurate sketch of the suspect with a 98 percent confidence rate.

According to our Partners in news at 21Alive, April's body was found in a ditch in DeKalb County and police have received 800 tips on a suspect.

If the suspect is still alive, police have a better idea of what the 70-year-old man would look like.
