Firefighters work a fire at Egg Innovations.

WARSAW, Ind.  (WOWO): Thousands of chickens were reportedly killed in an early morning fire in Kosciusko County.  Firefighters were called to Egg Innovations around 5 a.m. Monday morning. 

That's a facility west of Warsaw on Crystal Lake Road.  Witness say the building was fully involved.

The investigation continues but some estimates suggest as many as 65,000 chickens were in the structure.

No less than five fire departments were involved.
