Warsaw police arrest five on drug, gun charges

WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): Cocaine, marijuana, meth, and a stolen gun were all found Wednesday night at a mobile home park in Warsaw.

Warsaw police tell our partners in news at 21Alive they were called to the park after several people threatened someone with a gun and tried to drive away before their car was rammed by another vehicle and then abandoned. Police found meth and marijuana in that vehicle, then found a 9-millimeter handgun in the pocket of a 16-year-old seen walking away from the car.

The gun was reported stolen from Evanston, Wyoming. The 16-year-old was arrested for intimidation with a deadly weapon and possession of a stolen firearm.

Police tracked down the other people involved nearby and arrested them on various charges:

18-year-old Ryan Tucker of Warsaw is charged with dealing cocaine, possession of a stolen firearm, intimidation, theft, and dealing marijuana.

18-year-old Joseph Deeter of Warsaw is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance while possessing a firearm.

18-year-old Kyle Backus of Warsaw is charged with dealing marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.

38-year-old Canda Dunkleberger of Warsaw is charged with maintaining a common nuisance.
