WARSAW, Ind. (AP): A northern Indiana teenager who admitted conspiring to help kill a friend's stepfather could be released to a residential facility after he turns 18.
 
       Fifteen-year-old Paul Gingerich was sentenced Monday to 25 years under state supervision in the April 2010 death of Phillip Danner at his home near Syracuse. He was one of three juveniles charged in the killing that prosecutors say was part of a plot to run away to Arizona.
 
       Gingerich was 12 at the time of Danner's death. He was initially convicted of conspiracy to commit murder as an adult, but the state appeals court threw out that verdict.
 
       His new sentence can be served in a group home, community corrections, on probation or on parole if he's well-behaved or in a maximum-security facility if he's not.
