Weather Service: Damage May Top $100 Million

BOONVILLE, Ind. (AP): The National Weather Service said a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was passing through northeastern Indiana last night.
 
       The weather service said the storm was moving east at 30 miles per hour and was near the unincorporated community of McCoysburg in the Jasper County's Hanging Grove Township around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
 

       The storm has produced quarter-sized hail. There were no immediate reports of significant damage late Sunday evening.

        Here in Fort Wayne, 247 I&M customers were without power as of 5:00 a.m. Monday.
