WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO):  A White County man is in serious condition after a snowmobile accident. 

20 year old Devon Lee of Brookston was operating a snowmobile with a friend near the White County Roads 1100S and 200E.  It's unknown why they left the roadside, but when they did they struck a utility pole.  Lee sustained substantial head trauma and was transported to a hospital in Lafayette. 

The passenger, 18 year old Jaren Evans refused treatment at the scene.  Neither were wearing helmets. 

Indiana Conservation Officers continue to investigate the accident.
