WHITEY COUNTY, Ind (WOWO): 60-year-old Detective Charles Vogely of the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department is arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, Vogely was arrested Saturday after the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department was alerted to a possible drunk driver headed eastbound on US 30.

Vogley was stopped in the Larwill area by a Sheriff’s deputy and was arrested and booked by the Indiana State Police.

Vogely will have an initial hearing in Whitley Superior Court this afternoon.
