FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne woman charged in the death of her 2-year-old daughter was back in court yesterday for violating a no-contact order with one of her other children.
28-year-old Crystal Belcher is charged with neglect in the death of Jocelyn Belcher, who police say was strangled to death by Crystal Belcher’s boyfriend, Shane Patton.
Belcher was also ordered not to have contact with her other kids and released on bond, but our Partners in News at ABC 21 report she was back in court Tuesday after being caught using FaceTime to talk with one of them.
She’s now back in police custody and awaiting a January 15th trial date. Patton is still on the run.
