HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WOWO): A woman is dead and a child is in the hospital following a crash this afternoon in Huntington County. 

Our partners in news at 21Alive are reporting that the accident happened southeast of Huntington on State Route 5 just past West Division Road at about 3:30 Friday afternoon. 

The woman crossed the center line and hit a driver in the other lane. The woman died at the scene, her child was taken to the hospital.
