Woman Injured In Motorcycle Crash

ELKHART, Ind. (WOWO): Police say excessive speed is the main factor in a motorcycle crash that injured an Elkhart woman.

It happened Sunday on County Road 24 about two miles southwest of the Elkhart city limits.

Police say 59 year-old Debra Rigley of Elkhart approached a curve at the intersection with County Road 3, but was traveling too fast, collided into a ditch and was thrown from her Harley.

She received a cuts to the head, abrasions all over her body and a back injury.

She was also cited for speeding.
