Woodlan student arrested for online threat

WOODBURN, Ind. (WOWO): A 14-year-old boy was arrested at Woodlan Jr.-Sr. High School yesterday for making a threat.

Police say the student posted “I’m shooting up Woodlan” on his Snapchat. The News-Sentinel reports he was arrested on an intimidation charge and was taken to the Allen County Juvenile Center.

A sheriff’s deputy says the incident caused panic at the school.

The student says the post was a joke and had taken it down.

No weapons were found on him after a search.
