Would-Be Robber Arrested in Warsaw

Warsaw Police arrested a would-be robber over the weekend.  Officers were called to the Freedom Express gas station on S. Argonne Road on Saturday afternoon.  The clerk said a man came into the store and said he had a gun.  He demanded all the money in the register, then walked out empty-handed.  Police later discovered the suspect had returned to the store and was sitting in a pickup truck in the parking lot.  53-year-old Joseph Bradley of Claypool told officers that he was only joking and did not have a gun.  Investigators didn’t buy it.  Bradley was arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail and now faces a felony charge of attempted robbery.
