FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A popular Fort Wayne attraction is being honored for its environmental practices.
  
The Northeast Indiana Sustainable Business Council named the Children's Zoo its Sustainable Business of the Year.

The zoo is recognized for its promotion of conservation to nearly a half-million visitors per year. It also drew praise its operational practices and involvement with the council's Bright Green Business program.
