INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Authorities say a woman was killed and a man was injured in a drug-related shooting on the eastside of Indianapolis.
 
Officers responded to a report of a person shot about 8:15 p.m. Thursday. They received another call of a person shot on the way to the scene.
 
Police say a woman was taken with a gunshot wound to the head to a hospital, where she later died. They say a man was taken to a hospital with at least one gunshot wound, and was listed in critical condition as of 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
 
Investigators believe the two were involved in a drug deal before the shooting. They say both of them were armed and opened fire on each other.
 
Police say one person is in custody. An investigation is ongoing.
