FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 21-year-old Fort Wayne woman was shot to death on Wednesday night.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office says Dominique M. Mitchell died from a gunshot wound of the head. The manner of death has been ruled a homicide.
Police were called to the 2400 block of Gay Street at about 11 p.m. When officer arrived, they found Mitchell in the street suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was hospitalized and was pronounced dead a short time after.
She is the 21st homicide victim in Allen County this year. The homicide is still under investigation.
