4 Men Killed in Pair of Indianapolis Shootings

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Police say three men have died from a shooting at an Indianapolis home, while another man died in a separate shooting.

The shootings happened Monday night in the latest bout of violence that's troubled the city in recent months.

Police say officers responding to a report of gunfire in a neighborhood on the city's northwest side found the two men dead just outside the front door of a house.

Sgt. Kendale Adams says a wounded man died after being taken to a hospital. Police say a 10-year-old girl in a nearby home was hit by a stray bullet and hospitalized in stable condition.

The other deadly shooting happened on the city's near-north side after two men broke into the house. Police say eight young children in the home weren't hurt.
