Lucretia Cardenas of Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly joined Charly Butcher on “Fort Wayne’s Morning News” to talk about potential changes to overtime pay, but when?

The implementation date for the new set of U.S. Department of Labor rules governing who is and who isn’t eligible for overtime pay is a moving target, thanks in large part to the 300,000 comments – mostly negative – that the DOL received during a 90-day comment period that ended in September.
The rules themselves are likely to change before they are put in final form, said Doug Powers, an employee benefits attorney at Beckman Lawson in Fort Wayne.
