WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Two Columbia City residents were killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon at the Whitley-Allen County Line.

According to the Fort Wayne post of the Indiana State Police, 43-year-old Lanaya Collier of Columbia City was driving southbound in a pickup on Whitley County Road 800 East when a car driven by an 85-year-old Columbia City woman pulled in front of her at the intersection with Lincoln Way road.

The crash threw Collier from her vehicle; she was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the car, 84-year-old Roger Fry, died at a nearby hospital.
