5 Fort Wayne-Area People Charged in Bank Robbery

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Federal prosecutors have charged five Fort Wayne-area residents with robbery- and gun-related charges after a suburban Indianapolis bank robbery.
They said Tuesday that Xavier Hardy and Duryea Rogers, both 26, are charged with armed bank robbery, and 20-year-old Olivia Haiflich, 37-year-old Deandre Armour, and 40-year-old Tahitia Burnett, each is charged with aiding and abetting a robbery. All five also face a charge of using a firearm in a crime of violence.
Prosecutors say each of the five could be sentenced to life imprisonment if convicted on both counts each faces.
The five have detention hearings Wednesday in federal court in Indianapolis. Jail records don’t indicate whether they have attorneys.
At the time of their arrests June 26 in Fishers, an FBI agent described the five as a “professional” crew.
