Indy Server Gets $500 Tip After Man’s Dying Wish

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ A struggling server at an Indianapolis restaurant has received a $500 tip as part of a Kentucky man’s mission to fulfill his late brother’s dying wish.

Beth Collins received the tip Monday at Three Wise Men Brewery in Broad Ripple from Seth Collins. She tells WRTV-TV the gift couldn’t have come at a better time because things have been difficult while she looks for a teaching job.

It was the 54th $500 tip Collins has given in 17 states since his brother died a year ago and left a will stating his wish that a $500 tip be given in his memory. A video of the first tip went viral Collins and inspired $60,000 in donations from around the world.

Collins says his brother enjoyed unexpected acts of kindness.
