5 people hospitalized after buggy crash in LaGrange County

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Five people were hospitalized after a buggy crash on Friday afternoon.

At about 1:05 p.m. Friday, LaGrange County police were called to 675 West near 450 North on reports of a crash. A Ford Escort was traveling north up a hill on 675 West, when it crashed into a buggy on the opposite side of the hill, according to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office. 

The two adults and three children who were inside the buggy were all hospitalized. The three children suffered minor injuries. The man had back pain and the woman had foot pain.

The driver of the Ford was charged with driving while suspended. Police estimate there was $10,000 in property damage from the crash.
