FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 75-year-old woman died after a two-car crash on the southwest side of Fort Wayne on Wednesday.
Nancy Downs of Fort Wayne died from blunt force trauma from the crash, according to the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
At about 5 p.m. Wednesday, a car Downs was in was going east on West Jefferson Boulevard. As the car attempted to turn onto Glendale Drive, it drove into the path of another vehicle, police said.
Downs sent to the hospital, where she later died.
She is the 19th traffic death in Allen County. The crash is still under investigation.
