STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) — The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Deputy Sheriff until February 7th, 2025.
Starting base salary for 2025 is $64,502.58 plus benefits including Sheriff’s pension plan, specialty pay, and paid overtime.
The Sheriff’s Office also offers a take-home vehicle program as well as other specialty opportunities such as K-9 handler, Special Response Tactical Team member, and a summer Marine Patrol.
Patrol Deputies work a 12-hour shift with every other 3-day weekend off.
