OHIO, (WOWO) — Cedar Point has seen multiple ride closures this season due to mechanical issues.

Now State Lawmakers in Ohio are considering legislation that would require transparency from amusement parks as to what rides are not working.

State Representative Sean Brennan tells WTVG ABC-13 that his bill would give consumers protection as they buy tickets.

He says that families spend hundreds of dollars on tickets and travel across the state and that they deserve accurate, real-time information.
