Driver in Fatal Buggy Crash Won’t be Charged

DECATUR, Ind. (AP) _ A grand jury won’t file charges against a man who was driving a van that crashed into a buggy in northern Indiana, killing three people.
 
  The April 2012 crash killed three members of the Martin Schwartz. A 3-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl died shortly after the accident, and a 17-year-old boy who initially survived died several days after the crash. The horse also had to be put down.
 
  Chandler Gerber told police that he was texting and the sun’s glare made it difficult to see.
 
  Adams County Prosecutor Christopher Harvey tells WANE-TV in Fort Wayne that the six jurors found Chandler was negligent, he didn’t break the law.
