Major Marijuana Grow Operation Uncovered

CLAYPOOL, Ind. (WOWO): Sheriff Deputies have uncovered possibly the biggest marijuana grow operation in Kosciusko County history. Police acted on an anonymous tip yesterday morning when they went to a farm on County Road 600 South in Claypool. Officers met with owner Christopher Cords and got consent to search his property. They found an indoor marijuana grow operation inside the main barn. According to Sheriff’s Department Captain Aaron Rovenstine, over 600 plants were taken into evidence, and the street value seized is estimated to be greater than 200 thousand dollars. Cords is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on a 5 thousand dollar bond.
