Multi-Vehicle Crash On I-69 Southbound Near Auburn

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) — A four-vehicle crash in DeKalb County forced the closure of southbound lanes of I-69 Wednesday afternoon.

Two people reported pain and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Dispatchers said additional crashes occurred in the southbound lanes following the initial collision.

Emergency crews shut down southbound I-69 between mile markers 326 and 369, impacting the Auburn Kruse Auction Park exit and Auburn’s main exit. Indiana State Police diverted traffic to State Road 8.

There is no word yet on when the roadway will reopen.
