The investigation continues, but now know the identify of a man injured in a shooting this morning. Around 12:14 this morning, officers responded to the intersection of Lafayette and McKinnie on a report of gunfire. When they arrived, they found an 50-year-old Michael Beasley suffering from a gunshot wound. At last report, the victim was in serious condition. Witnesses say they saw a man running from the scene after the shooting. No arrests have been made.
