NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): State Representative Dave Ober will be presenting a Sagamore of the Wabash to the family of Mr. Don Moore on Wednesday, December 11th at the Kendallville American Legion.

The Sagamore of the Wabash is one of the most prestigious awards given by the Office of Governor Mike Pence.

Moore was an army intelligence analyst in the Vietnam War and an entrepreneur, operating Don Moore Productions and Minuteman Mowing Services. He was also involved in the local community, serving as Noble County Council President, Chamber of Commerce President, Downtown Kendallville Merchants President and Commander of American Legion Post 86. 

Moore passed away earlier this year and Representative Ober will be presenting his family with the award in honor of his service to country and community.
