Local Man Busted for Drugs, Gun Possession

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A local man faces several charges after a drug bust on Fort Wayne's south side. Fort Wayne Police Units served a search warrant to a home on W. Butler Street Thursday. During a search, officers found a bag of Spice, numerous articles of paraphernalia, and schedule 4 controlled substances. 33-year-old Cartrell Coleman faces several charges including possession of a firearm by a convicted domestic batterer after police also found two handguns in the home.

Coleman is charged with:

    3 Counts Dealing a Synthetic Drug D-Felony
    Maintaining a Common Nuisance D-Felony
    Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance D-Felony
    Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Domestic Batterer
