INDIANAPOLIS (AP): An Indiana state senator is getting attention from an annual gathering of the nation's conservative leaders. Republican Senator Jim Banks will be featured as one of the 10 rising stars at the 2014 Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington this weekend. Banks has represented northeast Indiana in the state senate since 2010.
