COLDWATER, Mich. (WOWO): A police standoff has ended at an adult book store near Coldwater, Michigan.

Angola Police say a man robbed the CVS pharmacy in Angola around 9:40 this morning and then led police on a 30 mile chase to the store a few miles north of Coldwater on I-69.

Once there he ran inside and locked the door, taking a hostage.

The man later released some of those people inside the store just after 11.

He remained held-up inside till around 1 p.m.

It's also believed he took a number of prescription pills while inside.
