Ohio Warns Against Illegal Alcohol Serving

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP): Ohio's liquor law agents are warning game-day party hosts and bartenders to avoid serving alcohol to minors and people who've had too much to drink.

The Ohio Investigative Unit says agents and police will be on the lookout for alcohol violations as college and professional football seasons get underway.

The agency says it's illegal to sell or provide alcohol to someone who's had too much to drink or is under 21.

It's also illegal for anyone with a liquor permit to encourage and advertise excessive drinking.

Agent-In-Charge Eric Wolf says the goal is for fans to be safe during game-day revelry.
