Man Convicted of Murdering Fort Wayne Truck Driver Scheduled for Execution

ST. LOUIS (WOWO): Missouri is scheduled to execute man early Wednesday for the 1998 murder of a Fort Wayne truck driver.

Earl Ringo Jr. is scheduled to die at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday in Missouri for killing Dennis Poyser and another person during a robbery at a Ruby Tuesday's Restaurant in Columbia, Missouri in July of 1998.

A court appeal on Ringo's behalf raised concerns about Missouri's use of a pre-execution sedative and what impact it has on the execution.
