University Closing in On Fundraising Goal

UPLAND, Ind. (WOWO): A fundraising campaign for a new campus center is nearing completation at Taylor University.

Development officials say they've raised $16.3 million of a $20 million goal for the new Boren Campus Center.

According to the school, the center will strengthen campus interation with meeting space for up to 1,300 people. The complex will also house the university's student development offices.

The project also includes a renovation of the school's Rediger Chapel Auditorium.
