FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  A man is in custody after a police chase this morning on the southeast side of Fort Wayne.

According to our partners in news at 21Alive, police began pursuing a Jeep Grand Cherokee, believed to be stolen, around 9:40 a.m. on Winter Street.

The suspect crashed the car into the porch of a house near the area of Winter and Oxford Streets. The suspect got out of the vehicle and then, took off on foot.

Police were able to catch the suspect a few blocks away.
