A Steuben County cold case closes with a 20-year prison team.

Today in Steuben Superior Court 50-year-old Mark Fritz was give the sentence.

Earlier this month he pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter for the 2001 stabbing death of Samuel Hunter at his home near Metz.

Last year a tip re-opened the case and led to the arrest of Fritz. He was originally charged with murder.
