Stutzman Offers Thoughts on President’s State of the Union Address

Congressman Marlin Stutzman has offered his response to the President’s State of the Union address.  Stutzman says that “Instead of proposing solutions to tackle our nation’s problems, the president continues his drive to increase dependency on the federal government.”  He says the the President’s agenda, from raising taxes to universal health care to restricting the right to keep and bear arms expands Washington… at the expense of Hoosiers. Congressman Marlin Stutzman also says “Unfortunately, there was no indication that the President is willing to change course and that Americans can’t afford the same failed policies of borrowing, spending and bailouts of the past six years. Stutzman says, Washington could learn by watching how we balance budgets in Indiana.
