House Drops 2nd Review Requirement for Coal-Gasification Plant

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): The Indiana House is stripping a provision from legislation that could have required a proposed $2.8 billion coal-gasification plant to get a second in-depth review by state regulators. The Republican state senator from Bloomfield who’s pushing for the changes says the project would be a huge boon for Indiana’s coal industry.
