Sheriff: Meth found at Indiana home where 4 slain…

COLUMBUS, Ind. (AP) _ A sheriff says methamphetamine has been found at a southern Indiana home where four people were killed over the weekend, and that investigators are considering the deaths drug related.

Bartholomew County Sheriff Mark Gorbett said Tuesday that no arrests have been made since the bodies were found in Waynesville, a small community outside Columbus.

Gorbett says investigators found several shell casings and a knife used in the attack. He says a rifle was recovered but detectives don’t yet know whether it was used in the shootings.

The county coroner says all four victims were shot multiple times and that the female homeowner was stabbed.

The victims have been identified as 53-year-old Katheryn Burton and her 39-year-old boyfriend, and two 41-year-old men who were friends of the couple.
