Update: State Trooper Shot and Injured

DAVIESS COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A state trooper is out of the hospital after being shot in southwestern Indiana. Trooper Jarrod Lents was injured yesterday afternoon in Montgomery after he got a call about the robbery at Black Oak Gun Shop. When he arrived, an armed robbery was in progress and gunfire was exchanged between Trooper Lents and 60-year-old James Jones of Shoals, Indiana. Trooper Lents was hit several times. The suspect died at the scene.
