INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): A man whose guns were seized when police found him watching a Bloomington bar where an IU student partied before she went missing is asking a court to make police return his weapons. Police found Robert Redington watching the bar through a range finder and discovered two loaded semi-automatic handguns in his pockets and a loaded shotgun in the trunk of his car. Officers found another 50 weapons when they searched his Indianapolis home. However, they don’t believe he had anything to do with Lauren Spierer’s disappearance. A judge allowed police to keep the firearms, but Redington said police didn’t have enough evidence to do that.
