USS Indianapolis Survivors Perhaps in Last Reunion

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Many of the 38 remaining survivors of the World War II sinking of the USS Indianapolis have gathered for what might be the last of their annual reunions. The reunion activities began Thursday at a downtown Indianapolis hotel and continue until Sunday when a memorial service is scheduled. Gov. Mike Pence recognized the survivors during an opening event attended by numerous relatives and supporters.
