Camp Atterbury Warns Nearby Residents About Noise

EDINBURGH, Ind. (AP) _ Residents living near the Indiana National Guard's Camp Atterbury 30 miles south of Indianapolis are being warned they likely will be hearing explosions over the next several days.


The Republic reports the noise is part of increased military training activity at Camp Atterbury's Joint Maneuver Training Center. The training is scheduled to continue through Tuesday.

 
Camp officials say some of the noise could extend into the evening hours.
